Tsinghua-CLA Project (cooperation
between Tsinghua University and CLA) is designed for young
people of 18-25 years. Through this project, not only can
students experience living in China while learning Chinese
language and getting acquainted with Chinese culture, they
can also improve and contextualize their business skills;
what’s more, this program can help the realization
of a professional career and a great leap in personal development.
Along with the trend of globalization, the possession of
living experience and skills gained from the world's fastest
economy shall be able to gain unmatched advantages in the
job market!
* If Students of this program pass our
tests, they will receive language credits certified by Tsinghua
University which can be mutually recognized by foreign colleges
or universities.
Tsinghua University
Tsinghua University (www.tsinghua.edu.cn), located in the
beautiful Tsinghua Park in Beijing's northern suburbs, is
a well-known Chinese institution of higher learning. It
is one of China's most important bases for high-level personnel
training and scientific and technological research.
Tsinghua University was established in 1911 and has become
a multi-disciplinary industrial university, focusing on
training national engineering & technological personnel
since 1952 when a national adjustment to colleges was completed.
It is known as the “Cradle of Engineers”. Since
1978, Tsinghua University has entered a new period of vigorous
development, gradually restoring the disciplines of science,
economics, management and liberal arts, and set up institutes
of graduates and continuing education. In 1999, the former
“Central Institute of Arts and Crafts” merged
into the establishment of the Academy of Fine Arts of Tsinghua
University. At present, Tsinghua University has established
13 colleges and 54 departments and has become an integrated
and research-oriented university covering jurisprudence,
science, literature, art, history, philosophy, economics,
management, law, education, medicine and other disciplines.

Accommodation
Tsinghua-CLA Project has accommodation arranged at the dormitory
for overseas exchange students at Tsinghua University.
Applicants for Tsinghua-CLA Project shall have their accommodation
arranged by CLA and students have three choices to live
on campus, in home-stay or apartments.
a). Accommodation Standards: Single-room or Double-room
.
b). Dormitory Facilities: Internet, satellite television,
international long-distance calls, toilet, 24-hour hot and
cold water and 24-hour security guards.
*Food: With Tsinghua University’s meal-card, students
can easily dine on campus. A large number of restaurants
and bars surrounding Tsinghua University serve, convenient,
healthy and safe food of various flavors.
*Tsinghua Library Resources
With Tsinghua library card, students can utilize the university’s
rich resources free of charge.
* Free Phone Card: Every student of Tsinghua-CLA Project
is provided with a free phone card with RMB100 Yuan by CLA.
